Happy New Year to all!
I've been a little absent the last few months, I know, but I have a very good excuse: I got married on December 20! I take this post to tell you a little as was my custom wedding. Because ... of course, the patchwork was very much present.
Jutjat We married in Pau at Premia de Mar and was very nice, many people came to us and our sisters read a text they had written for us. The judge let the garden to make us some photos and lots of fun with the world. Then we went to eat at Alella with our parents, siblings, grandparents and close friends, we were 20 in total.
As there were too many in the restaurant we mounted a big table to be together and I decorated it with two table runners gave Nancy Halvorsen after our mothers:
For guests, I made a keyring patch to have a memory of us in this day and were very successful. Here I show some photos:
You know what I like the accents and, of course, no shortage at my wedding. As I did not want the typical wedding cake with top figures. We ordered a chocolate cake (mmmmhmhmhm that was good!) And, before lunch, put on the table a couple of dolls Tildescos I did that day with a replica of the outfits we wore. To see what you think ...
At the end of the day gave the couple of dolls to my grandparents, who this year celebrate their 60 wedding anniversary!
In the photo above you can see the bouquet of bride Like red roses I ordered my dress. I know it is tradition to give the bouquet to a marriageable girl but I did not want to give the bouquet to anyone so I prepared so that it could break easily and, at the end of the banquet, gave a rose to each of the women invited . I think it was a good idea because everyone was very happy.
Well, now that I'm back, will update soon with my new patch and the outcome of Vero SAL (although the holidays are over.) A hug for everyone.
