As you can see, I chose 5 color groups, and sewed in turn 5 strips of each range in all its lingitud (44''). Once the strips sewn and ironed, it was time to take the cutter and cutting. For the design I had in mind, it was necessary to obtain right triangles (45 ยบ). So first I cut rectangles given seam allowances that I must leave for later triangles:
From each, putting the rule to 45 degrees, leaving two triangles with the gradient reversed, ie, one goes from light to dark and the other goes dark to light:
Here you can see all the triangles cut, out 160 in total!
at this point to facilitate subsequent assembly, sewed all the triangles in pairs, forming again a square but with the gradient in the corner. For this material provides triangles with pins, matching seams:
And sewed by machine with the leg of 1 / 4'':
After ironed well, you can see how they stitched the squares the gradient in the corner. In this way we obtain, for each color range, half of squares that darken toward the center and the other half that darken out:
Well, this is where who I am: I have sewn all the squares and now I am enjoying playing with different ways to place, until you find the one I like. To give you an idea of \u200b\u200bwhat you can do I show one of my options:
hope I have not been too boring with all the roll today, I talk so much (is a disease with no cure, hehehe). In order to be attentive to your suggestions and constructive criticism ... A hug and happy week!
