Today I want to tell you about my "mommy Australian" Mary . We met recently through the network, exchange some patterns and after a few weeks ago I received in my mail something that I was really looking forward to:

Cambié un poco la disposición de las telas para que el bebé pareciera más bebé: escogí una tela más rosada para el pequeño canguro que para la madre.

Ambos muñecos están hechos con lino de color y la chaqueta de mami con un fieltro en color crudo que compré en la Creativa del año pasado.

En breve os mostraré mi nuevo experimento: un quilt para el comedor realizado con un bali pop. El resultado es amazing!

Look, look what I came in the mail last week ...

What is ... What is it??

Yep, the new book by Tone Finnanger (Tilda Landstad) came to my home from Norway. This time I decided to buy directly from the publisher (Cappelen ) and in three days I had at home. Here I show some pages.

Personally, I think is the prettiest of all that has been published to date, but it's just my humble opinion.

As you can imagine, I could not resist their designs, and then I started to sew a couple of things in the book. The first project I did a little bird is very very easy I loved it and thought it would be great on my reading lamp:

truth that seems to have stopped to rest? I love it!

The other design I made is a mouse which I thought was cute. It takes a little more work to sew the body parts, but then the assembly is very simple:

As I sew, I remembered that as a child always asked my grandfather ( cel Sigui ) to tell me over and over again the story of the Rateta that escombrava l' rundown. So I searched through my box of gossip and found a small broom that looked great with the extent of the doll. So, in honor meu avi ... presented us the rundown l'Rateta that escombrava .
