things Christmas

Here I am again! Today I show you my progress in the work for Christmas. I've been working on it since I returned from vacation and I ... Well, actually, I've been doing some other things (jejjejej) is that I can not stand, and I will be hanging pics.

First I want to show some ornaments for the tree in a star motif of the crib. The design is by Nancy Halvorsen and can be found in the book "Star of Wonder ".

The truth is that I loved them, are all very simple design with exquisite results. The fabrics are the original author and I provided them in Erica's .

The following work has kept me busy until recently is a hanging panel of the same book. I liked since I saw it the first time, but you know the job I was getting the buttons to complete the quilt. Because ... let's see, no buttons loses the grace, truth? To make the quilt a little different I chose to make a frame with a log cabin asymmetric and the result pleased me:

And finally (for today, today) I show the quilt in which I currently work down. Is called "Joy To The World" and is from the same author as the other two. Now that I realize ... I'm a little single-minded, right? Anyway ... lets leave. This is a quilt square about 1 meter on each side (if large) and done with application in scallop. I know I told you I did not like to festoon, but that's no trick:) lol, I do not festoon I do my sewing machine! And what a difference ... I can say: go back to like "doing" scallop (juas juas).

I hope you have a nice week. Soon I will tell you of my other work, but I advance you something: go to Tilda's!

Is It Possible To Suck Your Own Cock

Good! Maybe they thought it was gone o. .. NOOOO! I've been a little busy, that's all, now I tell you.

Before vacation, I attended a couple of courses in prizes, very interesting, of course, both taught by Núria Madurell . The first dealt with the application machine: it was great! We learned and practiced four application techniques and they do not s discovered a tool and believe in-dis-pen-sa-ble!. This is the "fa bric folding pen" of the house Clover: a marker that helps to fold the fabric to the implementation work. It looks like magic, really, it "paints" over the web the way it should tom ar double z up only a little material, it takes the desired shape and let it set very easily with the planktonic ha.

Well, I stop and propaganda. The second or course we tried the machine quilting. To him if he did I win, especially now that I have a machine capable of quilting: just need to polish my skills, I guess it takes practice. And I will be showing the results of my tests ...

After the courses, soon arrived and vacation rentals TO DO stops (my mind too, poor thing!). But I'm back and ready to fulfill my promise to show you the progress of my Dear Jane SAL. We've done sei s block cytes, all of the labor Georgina, who is a charm and super crack in everything he does (if not believe me, get lost for a while your blog .) I lie not with its indications is impossible to miss. These are the ingot we have done so far:

A-8: Florence Nightingale

B-1: Batchelor Buttons

B-4: Chris's Soccer Field

B-13: Four Corner Press

L-7: Town Square

M-8: Enchanted Square

Well, so far for today. You should told me that I think of my ingot, I'm using fabrics that I have at home or I were remnants of other tasks for all blocks of the quilt with different fabrics. The only thing I respect is the background: ivory fabric type tone on tone (this allows me to tie all the colors I use.)

Soon we will show the other work in which I have been busy. Until then, greetings!

NEW ADVANCES IN THE DJ AND ANOTHER ONE BOX FOR WIRELESS Tilda

Well, after more than a week of not posting anything for lack of time, finally I can show my latest creation, jejeje, Tilda other wrist. This model corresponds to the last book came out last fall, "Tilda julehus." In the book, being Christmas, proposed a model in red, but I wanted to give it a more ... sailor.

For the body I used a linen I bought at "Casals i Ribes" in Barcelona. For those who have asked me once, it's best to get the style that gives Finanger Tone your wrists, you use flax. Although other types of rough cloth as the fabric of thread, it is also good.

Following tildes, I show you a packet with a doll kits that I bought online. Except for the angel, the other two (the bathers and wrist country) are part of the new collection this spring. What you want to tell you, I could not resist, lol.

If someone you are interested, I asked Panduro Iberia (the link is in the right column). It is a subsidiary of Panduro Hobby in Portugal, and are responsible for the English market. I must say that I had seen these kits for a store in Barcelona but was very expensive, too much for my budget, so as with the sewing machine, I searched the net and Panduro (who is the distributed to the stores) I get less than half the price.

Changing the subject, I pointed at George SAL for the Dear Jane. Starts tomorrow (12/06) and I'm looking forward! You'd think I'm crazy (okay, a bit better) but after thinking long and hard (10 minutes) I decided to do so. Because, what improved way of doing something like that with a SAL? Thus, someone sets the goals for me, and like everyone else does the same at the same time ... it is more difficult to park. Anyway, I'll tell you how it goes and post pics of progress.

By the way, I'm doing some sewing complementillos for me: a book for the hands, a belt pouch atin, a box for thimbles ... if you are interested and I'll hang what will finished, with a few instructions.

Are Table Showers Legal

First of all, I would like to thank you all for your comments so nice about my work. Really, I'm very happy!

Today I want to show a small arreglillo I've done to my box of wires. On the first weekend in May, I spent a few days at St Joan de les Abadesses, and building that held a craft fair, I bought this wicker basket with lid to store sewing threads.

Although
the box itself was beautiful, I decided to "decorate" a bit to make it more authentic. So, as usual, I pulled out my Japanese books and found an idea that I liked to line sewing motif applied. The result is that I show below

Here you can see a detail of the cover to which I applied an old sewing machine (like the one I had) with Japanese fabrics, I taste, are a delight!

Once sewn all, I realized that was wrong with the backing and it measures not come to be able to tie the back. Then my partner suggested that I could fix with a couple of buttons, and a rubber, to make it properly stretched. So I did, and finally the workaround was not bad.

Finally, I show you a detailed interior with all the chaos of wires ... Do not you think of that as much that you try to have the Hios sorted at the end there is always someone who ends up getting involved? Still think about it. Greetings to all and happy week!

As A Godmother What To Write On The Card

As promised, I show how I was busy last week. This is work that long ago that I had in mind to do, but either did not have time or I had not dared her. The birthday of my father gave me an excuse. I explain: My father is very fond of since childhood, the "comic" Mortadelo and Philemon, and I also like from simpre (what Shall I tell you ... make me laugh!).

So a couple of weeks, dusting one of my comics and looked for a cartoon I liked. I picked some fabrics from my trunk y. .. gradually the idea took shape:

And how ...

After the implementation of all parts (screwing up the web, of course, is what I like best), I started with the details. Mouliné black wire, I outlined all about stem contours, facial expressions, etc.. and you board the eyes, eyebrows, mouth, tie and glasses.

And I went with the details ...

And the end result, after the frames and sew the batting was .... "Xaxi!" Well, I liked a lot. And the recipient as well: you have it hanging in his study.

I say I am very proud of this quilt, because even though I brought loooong work, the end result was worth it to me. Think about that when I started, I was convinced that I would come two puppets that appear in no to Mortadelo and Philemon, but in the end I think so they look like, no?

MY BIRTHDAY GIFT Tilda

again!

First of all I apologize for my absence these days and my lack of contact, I promise to reply to everyone during the weekend. I've been a bit liadilla with some new projects, one is the one I show here. For the other two you will have to wait some days (I have to find a hollow for hanging pictures).

I've been with a "small" project, something new and, in my see, very original, was a gift ... So if this weekend you pass by my blog, I'll be able to see what I've been busy (... mystery ...).

Well, let me roll, here are photos of my first frog Tilda. Tone is Finnanger book "Sommer i hage ticked." I had a great sewing it and I love the result! It is also a fairly quick work to do.

Here you can see a detail of the back, with straps crossed and my etiquetita mono (Gloria, ja me'n m'ho reminded that you ask: Fare post amb la informació of their labels, pateixis!).

I leave for today, hope your weekend visits!

Basketball Knee Sore Treatment

FROG HOUSE FOR BOX Kleenex

First of all I want to say how pleased I am by the fact that you like both my stuff. Really, it makes me very happy.

Today I show you something that I just love it. This is a typical case for the tissue box-shaped house. I got the idea from one of my Japanese books (you have to see what delights they do!). Well, nothing, I modified a bit to fit measures a nuestras cajas de kleenex y seleccioné algunas de mis telas japonesas preferidas.

I hope you have a good day, kisses to all.

What Is Good Coal Tar Available Over The Counter?

Building
already quilts I showed my first application (those in the house), today I'd like to show something more of my work application. This technique I really like it and use it a lot, although I prefer the traditional application (narrowing the fabric) to scallop.

Sitges last year bought the quilt pattern in "Nina Patch" and the file. After a timepo Fet Ma went and bought the fabric to do so. It was not until after del verano que empecé a coserlo y después a acolcharlo.

BIKE QUILT WORK IN PROGRESS II - ALSO WORK IN PROGRESS AND FINISHED

Afternoon continued raining ... and for fun, has appeared a leak in my room. Definitely, today the rain has defeated me! So, as I did not want to look at the leak or you hear the xip-xap "water filling the bucket, I have moved to the sewing room and I finished my log cabin bag. This is the front:

I cheated, jejej. The design I chose was not among those that I showed. It seems incredible of reasons that can build parts with the same log cabin, and sure there are many more, but ... not occurred to me. Below you can see the back (say front and back for saying something because you can take your pick):

- FINISHED! MY FIRST QUILT

Today it rained all day, and I mean toooooodo day! We have stayed at home and I could take to finish a couple of things that were pending. The first was my wrist Tilda. Yes, yes, I could end this tomorrow. I like Finnanger Tone designs because they are very simple to perform and the result is spectacular, well, at least to my taste (me love everything about this woman.)
I've taken it in stride, I've gone step by step and have taken particular care with details such as the characterization of face (this is what I find most difficult). And although I used fabrics that were perhaps not the most appropriate, the doll has finished running pretty good, no?

Al pad I have sewn a custom tag that I ordered a while ago, but this I leave for another post, if I'm going to run out of things to tell! For the hair I used a type of cotton thread is twisted and I picked up in two pigtails with a piece of blue wool. Here you can see a detail of the face.

Black Hairy Women Blog

hanging

Last year, I spent a few months taking classes in a school patch. Then I had to leave for incompatibilities with my new work schedule. So for more than a year that I am a happy self.

I'm already rolling ... What I wanted to show work is the first application I made. This is a applied fairly simple drawing vliesofix (double sided) and embroidered scallop point. What I liked about this work was embroidered with silk ribbon, I had never tried before and is very resultón. This quilt I gave it to my mother two years ago by his Compleano. We liked it so much (is that loves me) that hung in front of the entrance, the lobby, so that every time I go to visit, on entering, greets me my quilt.

few months later I wanted to repeat it with other fabrics for my home and sweet but remained imperfect, I noticed improvements in the practice of this type application.

Some details of the quilt:

How To Reset The Number Lock In Safari

Okay, I have taught my sewing machine My sewing ... I think that now touches me show you my bag of patch. In fact, now is not particularly useful, since I'm not going to class, but what you want to tell you: I wanted to do it.

I took the general idea of \u200b\u200ba design Laila Ukkelberg I bought from Elisabeth "PolarQuilt " . I changed the steps, I modified the assembly, I added pockets galore and the result was adjusted enough to what I wanted.

Okay, not discrete, but is limited to the needs of transport work. I mean, has two padded pockets for cutting tools (the padding because I'm a bit clumsy and simpre walk with cuts on his hands), a pocket to fit my travel rule, a pocket to place rights pencils and other drawing tools, an interior zip pocket for things that are lost and the other with a button and other keys, among others.

Now that I read ... I spent maybe sewing pockets, right?

I leave a detailed drawing, with luck you could see some of the pad (by hand of course, I still have not been able to train with the quilting machine!).

Ah! I this is me with my bag at Sitges this year. Not that I want to give back, just that I made the shot without warning. If my partner likes the "artistic photos", lol.
