Until a few weeks, I sewed (like crazy) with this relic inherited from the grandmother of my partner. The Alfa and I had become very good friends and we had a really good time together, but the poor were elderly and wanted to go and live in a residence for older machines. So I had to get me a new sewing partner.

So, as a Catalan I'm good, I had to take the chance and ordered my new machine to Karen, a lovely woman from California who sells and repairs sewing machines and also teaches sewing. So
was within a couple of weeks I had my Singer home 9940 ... one-pass machine! I just had to connect to a transformer, the theme of the voltage difference between the U.S. and Spain, and ready!
The truth is that I am delighted, over 500 different stitches (including utility, decorative eyelets and scripts), comes with 13 feet for various applications and also me given to extending table methacrylate.
